Get Your Store Running in Minutes

Everything you need to set up your TCGKungfu kiosk, add inventory, configure pricing, and start helping customers. No technical experience required.

Step 1

What is TCGKungfu?

TCGKungfu is a self-service kiosk platform built for Magic: The Gathering card stores. Customers search cards, check prices, and submit trade-ins. You manage everything from a powerful admin panel.

Step 2

Getting Started (5 Minutes)

Go to tcgkungfu.com and click Get Started.

Fill in your store details: store name, email address, and create a PIN (6-12 characters). This is your admin PIN — keep it safe!

Your store gets a subdomain automatically: yourstore.tcgkungfu.com

You're automatically signed in and taken to your admin dashboard. Your store is live!
Tip: Bookmark your admin panel at yourstore.tcgkungfu.com/admin for quick access.

Step 3

Setting Up Your Store

Upload your store logo. Go to Admin → Settings. Square images work best (200×200px minimum).

Add store hours and contact info. Customers see this on the kiosk.

Check your tier. You start on Starter (free). Upgrade anytime.
Tip: You can change any settings later. Don't worry about getting everything perfect right away.

Step 4

Adding Inventory

TCGKungfu has 112,000+ Magic cards with market prices. Just tell us what you have in stock.

Search for a card in Admin → Inventory. Results appear instantly with images and market prices.

Add to inventory: set quantity, condition (NM/LP/MP/HP/DMG), and your price.

Bulk import (Pro tier): Export from Manabox or Delver Lens and upload the CSV. Imports hundreds of cards at once.
Tip: Market prices update regularly, so your inventory values stay current automatically.

Step 5

Setting Prices with Blockly

Visual drag-and-drop pricing — no coding needed.

Example rules:

  • If market price > $20, set markup to 15%
  • If Standard-legal, add 10%
  • If condition is HP/DMG, discount 40%
  • For bulk commons, flat price $0.25

Open the Blockly editor in Admin → Pricing.

Drag blocks from the toolbox and connect them like puzzle pieces.

Test your rules before applying. Preview shows real prices from your inventory.
Tip: Start simple — even "10% above market price" saves you from pricing every card manually.

Step 6

Trade-Ins

Customers submit trade-ins from the kiosk. You review and approve from the admin panel.

Set your trade-in percentage in Admin → Trade-Ins → Settings (e.g., 60% of market value).

Customers submit at the kiosk. They search cards, select condition, and the offer calculates automatically.

Review from admin. Approve, reject, or adjust offers for each trade-in.

Scanning (Pro tier): Delver X integration for fast card identification.
Tip: Set different percentages by value: 50% for cards under $5, 60% for $5-$50, 70% for $50+.

Step 7

Managing Staff

Go to Admin → Staff and click Add Staff Member.

Enter their name and create a PIN. Each staff member gets their own login.

Staff can process trade-ins, manage inventory, and search cards. They cannot access billing or settings.

Your admin PIN has full access. Staff PINs have limited permissions so you stay in control.

Step 8

Events & Tournaments

Go to Admin → Events and click Create Event.

Fill in: event name, date/time, entry fee, format (Standard, Modern, Commander, Draft, etc.).

Set recurring schedules — weekly FNM, biweekly Commander, monthly prereleases. Future events create automatically.
Tip: Events show on both the kiosk and admin panel. Customers see what's coming without asking.

Step 9

Loyalty Program

Enable loyalty in Admin → Loyalty. Set points per dollar spent.

Configure rewards — store credit, discounts, free tournament entries.

Track everything from the admin panel — top customers, redemptions, program performance.
Tip: Start with "1 point per dollar, 100 points = $5 store credit." Adjust later.
